These Terms and Conditions govern the use of estimating and takeoff services provided by 247 Estimation. By submitting project documents, placing an order, or using any deliverable produced by 247 Estimation, the client agrees to the terms outlined on this page.
General Terms and Conditions
Turnaround Time: The standard delivery time for this estimate is 3 business days from the receipt of complete drawings and project documents.
Pricing Methodology & Customization: Unit pricing is localized using RSMeans, proprietary historical project data, and direct contact with local vendors for current regional market rates. All deliverables include fully editable Excel spreadsheets, allowing you to easily adjust unit prices, material costs, or labor rates to match your company’s standard pricing.
Scope of Work & Exclusions: Deliverables include a detailed line-item breakdown of all measured CSI divisions and trades. Any trade, material, or scope item not explicitly listed in the delivered estimate or takeoff summary shall be considered a formal exclusion.
Revisions & Bid Support: We provide post-delivery support at no additional charge. This includes filling out specific bid forms, incorporating minor drawing revisions, adjusting scope modifications, and completing owner/general contractor information forms.
Client Confidentiality & Data Retention: All project files, drawings, specifications, and client communications are strictly confidential. Sensitive payment data is never requested or stored. Project drawings and documents are automatically purged from our secure servers 7 business days following project delivery.
Satisfaction Guarantee: We work to your exact scope requirements and remain committed to revising deliverables until you are fully satisfied with the accuracy and format of the material takeoff.
Estimate Disclaimer
All estimates and takeoffs produced by 247 Estimation are professional approximations based on the project documents, specifications, and information provided by the client at the time of submission.
Actual construction costs may vary due to factors outside the scope of the estimate, including but not limited to market fluctuations in material pricing after the estimate date, labor rate changes driven by seasonal demand or local market conditions, unforeseen site conditions not documented in the submitted drawings, scope changes or specification revisions issued after delivery, and permit fees or regulatory requirements specific to the local jurisdiction.
247 Estimation does not guarantee that a delivered estimate will match a final construction contract price. The deliverable is intended to support the bidding and budgeting process, not to serve as a fixed-price construction contract.
Intellectual Property
All deliverables produced by 247 Estimation become the property of the client upon delivery and full payment. The client may use, modify, distribute, or incorporate the deliverable into any bid, proposal, or project document without restriction.
247 Estimation retains no ownership claim over delivered spreadsheets, plan markups, or summary reports once the order is complete and paid in full.
Limitation of Liability
247 Estimation provides estimating and takeoff services only. The company does not provide architectural, engineering, legal, or financial advice.
The maximum liability of 247 Estimation for any claim arising from a delivered estimate or takeoff shall not exceed the total fee paid by the client for that specific order.
247 Estimation shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of any deliverable, including but not limited to lost bids, project delays, cost overruns, or third-party claims.
Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from or related to these terms or any deliverable produced by 247 Estimation shall first be addressed through direct communication between the client and the company.
If a resolution cannot be reached through direct communication, both parties agree to pursue mediation before initiating any formal legal proceedings.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States.
Changes to These Terms
247 Estimation reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on this page. Continued use of the company’s services after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
